Agenda for the Annual Meeting of the Council
To be held at the Village Hall on Tuesday, 12th May 2026 at the close of the Annual Parish Meeting.Members of the public are welcome to attend.
- To elect the Chairman – Chairman to sign the declaration of acceptance of office.
- To elect the Vice-Chairman .
- To receive apologies from members unable to attend .
- To receive declarations of interest from members on any item to be discussed at this meeting.
- To approve and sign the minutes of the last meeting held on 10th March, 2026.
- Open forum for Public Participation (maximum 10 minutes): an opportunity to hear from members of the public.
- To discuss Matters Arising from the Minutes of the last meeting which are not on the agenda.
- To receive Reports from County Councillor and District Councillors.
- To receive Updates on Items from the Minutes of the Last Meeting:
- Anglian Water sewer problem.
- To receive Playingfield Report and updates on quote from NGF Play.
- To discuss and comment on Planning Applications received and related matters.
- Finance: To approve payments to be made:
- Clerk Salary,
- Insurance renewal,
- Norfolk Parish Training & Support.
- To approve the Annual Governance Statement 2025/26, the Accounting Statements and Certificate of Exemption for submission to the External Auditor.
- Any Other Business:
For discussion/information only, the council may not make decisions on these items. - To agree items for the next meeting to be held on 14th July, 2026.
